Thom BrowneThom Browne has created his first full womenswear collection.

The men’s designer has dabbled in female fashion before - selling a capsule range in Barneys New York in 2007 and 2008 - but has now branched out by making a new line.

“This time I have more time to focus on it. For September, it will be a bit bigger than before, with more styles within the categories, but very focused. In the next couple seasons it will become a fully developed collection.”

The collection will sell at Barneys New York, Colette and 10 Corso Como Seoul and The Thom Browne shop. For the range, Brown has been inspired by his menswear roots, which he has incorporated into the clothes.

“It’s very focused on jackets and trousers and outerwear. I think it’s what people expect from me, very men’s-inspired women’s clothing. Grey flannel, navy cashmere. Good, all-American men’s wear influence, but fitting in a cool feminine way. I want it to be very understandable. Personally, when I see it on the girls I think it looks so good. I like the idea of men’s tailoring on girls. It’s very strong and sexy in a non-overt way.”

Nicole RichieTalk about creative— turns hats into handbags.

The reality star - who is currently promoting her House of Harlow 1960 and Winter Kate fashion ranges - says she often gets inspired by seeing what other people are wearing and then giving items her own unique twist.

“I was walking around the other day and I saw this woman wearing this great hat and I thought actually that’d make a really good bag so we turned it upside down and now it’s a great looking bag.”

Nicole - who has two children, Harlow, two, and nine-month-old Sparrow with fiance Joel Madden - also revealed she has had to alter her dress sense since becoming a mother to make it practical yet still stylish: “I’m a busy working mother. I’m all for what’s comfortable but I don’t think people today make enough effort with what they wear. At the same time I don’t want to have to get out of bed early to decide what to put on. My jackets are my favorite part of my collection because you can just throw one on over jeans and a vest and it looks like you’ve made an effort.”

Fergie for Outspoken

Apparently it’s a rite of passage in the music industry to bottle up a scent and slap one’s name on it these days. is the latest of the celebrities to do so, having teamed up with Avon to produce her fragrance called Outspoken.

“From my music to my wardrobe, my style is all about speaking up and making a statement. Outspoken definitely turns heads, but it also lets your true personality shine through.”

Although the product won’t hit stores until September, the Black Eyed Peas singer has released some teaser promotional images to prompt fans’ anticipation. Can anyone resist an ad like that?

Marc Jacobs and Lorenzo MartoneSay it isn’t so! Just as initial whispers of a break-up between Marc Jacobs and former model Lorenzo Martone ceased, the big-time fashion designer sparked the rumor mill once again when he didn’t mention his fiance in his acceptance speech at the CFDA awards.

The couple were seen together last week at the amfAR gala looking like their usual, adorable selves (holding hands and everything!); however, insiders say that Lorenzo was caught smooching another lady’s man at Sean Patterson’s birthday party that night!

Was the cheating kiss the reasoning behind Martone’s absence from the awards and Marc’s speech? Marc couldn’t be reached to comment and Lorenzo declined to comment when presented with the news.

The couple have been engaged since March 2009, after having dated previously for a year.

Rihanna for Gucci

Stylish R&B singer doesn’t think there are enough black women in fashion. The “Rude Boy” singer believes her advertising campaign for fashion house Gucci was a “big deal” because it was such a break from convention.

“It’s clear there are definitely fewer black women in the high-fashion industry. One of the things I respected most about Gucci was that they did a print campaign with me. I’m a black girl on a fashion spread for Gucci - that was a big deal.”

The Barbados-born beauty also spoke of her “respect” for designers who refuse to stick to using slender, white women models and promote diversity on the catwalk.

Kim Kardashian coming from the gym is refusing to let her love of chocolate ruin her newly-slim figure.

The reality star recently shed 15lbs in weight, but is determined to keep her curves in check by making sure she exercises regularly to make up for her indulging in the occasional treat.

“I do love my sweet things and my chocolate but that only means I have to work out harder and more often. That’s the trick - you can have a little of what you like but then you have to balance that in some way. For me that’s exercise so it’s no problem.”

While she is happy to undergo regular workouts, Kim recently revealed she always needs to look stylish when she goes to the gym. The 29-year-old socialite - who recently launched her own work-out apparel brand Bravada International - said, “The line is something that I’ve aligned myself with because it’s something that I wear all the time. I mean, it’s really hard for me to find fitness clothes and the sports bras sometimes don’t fit, or the pants are all different sizes - this line is all only one size and it really does fit all my sisters and they’re all different sizes. It’s so stretchy, and it’s stylish. You wanna look good when you go to the gym. You wanna feel your best.”

Willow Smith at the premiere for The Karate Kid

There’s a new in town, and she happens to be 9 years old.

Jada Pinkett-Smith prepped her daughter Willow with some major styling cues (The Graduate much?) for her brother’s movie premiere, as she looked like a fierce human leopardess on the red carpet. While she looks much older than her actual age, I think that it’s safe to say that she’s still looking much better than fellow peer Noah Cyrus—hands down.

Is Willow Smith’s animal print look too ahead of her time or fiercely fabulous?

Lara Stone for Calvin KleinNewlywed has been confirmed as the new face of Calvin Klein. The Dutch supermodel signed an exclusive deal with the fashion house to front its campaigns for Calvin Klein Jeans, Calvin Klein Collection and ck Calvin Klein.

“I have a long history with the brand, and so it was wonderful to work with the house again this year. It’s like being part of a family.”

The deal marks the first time in years Calvin Klein have used one model to front all three of its brands and the firm’s creative director, Francisco Costa, thinks Lara’s perfect for the role: “I conceived my autumn 2010 collection with a self-aware and assured woman in mind. For me, Lara was the perfect choice for the new campaign because she is a woman who epitomizes confidence and sensuality.”

Lara - whose size 6 figure is deemed “curvy” by catwalk standards - has taken the fashion world by storm and is currently the face of Prada’s Infusion d’Iris scent, Louis Vuitton, Jaeger and Eres. She has previously said she thinks her curvy figure has helped her become a success.

“I’m different because I am fat. It would be nice if I wasn’t the only person with t*ts and an a**. If I could have the discipline to be super-skinny I would be. I think of dieting, then I eat pizza. I’m a woman, and every woman wants to be thinner - unfortunately.”

ImanIman thinks it’s shame models no longer work closely with designers.

The supermodel - who was named as this year’s Fashion Icon at last night’s Council of Fashion Designers of America () awards - wishes the beauties of today were able to have more input into what they wear, like she did.

“In my day it was, ‘Do you like that? Would you wear it that way?’  You could be your own person. And nobody walked the same way on the runway. Don’t get me wrong, there are great girls today. But they have lost that role, of collaborating with the designers. There is not that relationship anymore.”

The Somalian-born beauty - who is married to music legend David Bowie - also admitted it was very flattering to be given the award and said she can’t wait for hot young designer to now dress her: “The award came as a surprise but it does the ego good. I plan to take Alexander up on his offer to dress me now!”

Iman, 55, has had a diverse and wide-ranging fashion career, appearing as a high fashion model to designers including Calvin Klein and , and in 2007 she launched her own signature make-up line on the Home Shopping Network. She also works for a number of charities including the Children’s Defence Fund and Keep a Child Alive.
